Director of Music Search Committee Report
Margaret Peacock presented a detailed account of the Search Committee’s process and accomplishments in the search for a new Director of Music. A motion was presented to approve the hiring of Mr. Scott Andrew “Andy” Eaton as Director of Music, effective September 1, 2019. Motion passed.
Christian Education
Motion to approve Katja Brown as a speaker on ONE Book ONE Church, “The Day the World Came to Town 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland,” October 13, 9:40-10:40 am in Memorial Hall. Motion passed.
Motion to approve Suzanne Brown, Psychotherapist, LCSW, LCAS, as a speaker on mental illness, November 17, 9:40-10:40 am in Memorial Hall. Motion passed.

Nominating Committee
Darcy Dye Bowers, Moderator of the Nominating Committee, Congregational Meeting October 20, following the 11:00 am worship service for the purpose of electing officers for the class of 2022 (Elders and Deacons).
Finance Committee
Hymnal contribution update: 503 have been dedicated,toward a goal of 600.
Generosity Committee
Dr. Cynthia Elderkin announced the initiative promoted by the Generosity Committee called “20/20: Living Into God’s Perfect Vision.”
