The Session met from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. to enjoy dinner and conversation with the 2019 Confirmands in Memorial Hall. Each confirmand presented his/her statement of faith. At the conclusion, a motion passed to welcome the confirmands into membership of FPC pending their public profession of faith on May 19, 2019.
For the Good of the Church
The Columbarium Subcomittee—Gerry Rogers, Moderator, presented an update regarding the subcommittee’s recommendation to redesign the Columbarium’s landscaping and upgrading of an area referred to as a “plaza.” Conceptual plans were available. Intent is to improve the visibility/appearance.

Motion passed to purchase 600 Glory to God Hymnals as replacements to existing hymnals.
Congregational Life Committee
Carolyn Bachl Stewart substituting for Don Becom
Motion passed to accept FPC’s nominee for Outstanding Older Adult (Presbytery of New Hope). The name is to be announced to the congregation at a later date.
