FPC Staff Show & Tell: Jonathan Regalado

STAFF MEMBER SINCE:

December 2008

MAIN JOB DUTIES:

As a sexton at FPC for almost 12 years, Jonathan has performed a multitude of tasks, and usually goes above the call of duty to accommodate our church members and guests. On a daily basis, he is responsible for maintaining the church property, including sweeping, mopping and window cleaning. Every other Sunday morning, you will also find him on duty to assist church members and make sure they have what they need. Little details do not escape Jonathan, as he can sometimes find himself putting in a little TLC to adjust your suit collar, bring you a cup of coffee or help carry things to and from your car. It’s Jonathan’s personal touch and positive attitude that gets your attention and you know that he’s always happy to help with a big smile on his face.

FAVORITE PART OF JOB:

Jonathan enjoys the early morning hours the most, as he prepares to start the work day. He states, “Anyone can do this job”, but it’s FPC’s people and environment that makes it enjoyable to come to work. He may seem quiet at first, but that’s because he doesn’t enjoy large crowds. Rest assured, however, his personality comes to light when providing one-on-one assistance and he always lightens the mood. He wants you to know that he enjoys his time here and that he feels rewarded when helping people and seeing their reaction when he does something they don’t expect.

WHEN NOT AT WORK:

When Jonathan finally gets to kick off his shoes after being on his feet all day, he enjoys playing video games with his 3 children or relaxing at the park. Having a large family also means he spends time outside playing baseball or riding bikes. He and his wife of 11 years have 2 daughters, ages 8 and 10, and a son, age 5, and currently live in Kenly, NC.

CALL ON JONATHAN!

He looks forward to seeing you on campus or even on social media!
