About the Weekend
The All Church Retreat Committee knows that there is no substitute for being at Montreat. But if we can’t be there, we wanted to take some of the amazing elements of the weekend and give us a chance to gather. You’ll see that the schedule is VERY different – we wanted to make sure that families with small children could participate easily, so you’ll see hikes during the morning, speakers during nap time, and family-friendly events in the late afternoon! Additionally, the cost is designed to be minimal – $50 per household. This will cover the cost of supplies for the weekend. Scholarships (partial and full) are also available and you can select one of these options at registration. We hope that if the All Church Retreat is an annual tradition for you OR if you’ve never been, that you’ll join us for a meaningful weekend.
Covid-Safety
Our in-person events will be socially distant, outdoors, masks required, and optional. If you’re not ready to gather yet, our hope is that the retreat will still be meaningful even if you only participate in virtual events.

Friday, March 5
- 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Drive-Thru Welcome Party! Each family will receive a box of goodies for the weekend! - 7:30 pm
Our keynote speaker, Rev. Judy Pidcock!
Opening Keynote on Zoom; Small Groups (Zoom)
If you need your box dropped off, we’d be happy to bring it to you!
Saturday, March 6
- 8:00 am
Coffee and devotion on Facebook Live! Brew some special Montreat brew & join us for a cozy and brief devotion. - 9:30 – 11:00 am
Group Hikes! These will be across 3 different locations with different levels of difficulty ranging from easy to more difficult. Masks and distancing required. - 12:30 pm
Lunch & Learn – Join in for our panel discussion on ways different members of our church family use their gifts to care for God’s creation. - 4:00 pm
Picnic & Pet Blessing! – Join us for a socially distant hot dog picnic (food provided) AND bring your pet for our first ever pet blessing! - 7:30 pm
Concert with Billy Jonas – Join us on Zoom for time with the amazing Billy Jonas. His instruments are primarily made from repurposed items. He’s enjoyable for ALL ages, so let your little ones enjoy before they head to bed!

Coffee, Devotion & Hymn Sing! Join us as we close out a great weekend on Facebook Live! You’ll get to type in your requests for your most-loved hymns! We’ll be finished in time for Church School!
