One of our favorite traditions during the Christmas season is the Drop-In at our house, where we invite the church family to enjoy a bite to eat and a time of lively conversation. Because our energies these days are directed toward planning a wedding (Amy will be married in late January, in case you haven’t heard!), we have come to the realization that we’re going to have to forgo the Drop-In this year, a decision made with much regret. However, we do hope you will accept a deferred invitation!
On Sunday, February 9, 2020 following the 11 am service, we hope you’ll stay after church for a lunch to help us celebrate the marriage of Amy and Russell. The constraints of space (and the realities of wedding budgets!) means that we can’t invite the whole church family to the wedding. But we do want you to share our family’s joy, so a lunch after church seems the right way to celebrate this union of two preacher’s kids! This is a “no presents”, only your “presence” sort of gathering! It is our way of including our church family in a time of gladness in our family.
