ChoRuss is a Russian Choral Ensemble hailing from St. Petersburg, Russia. “ChoRuss” means “Choir of Russia,” and the ensemble of 4-8 singers was founded in 2012 by Miroslav Alekssev and Dmitry Petrov. The group focuses on sacred music of the Russian Orthodox tradition, with a particular focus on composers of the 19th and 20th Centuries and Russian folk tunes of the second World War.
