Items for Approval

  • Property and Insurance
    Ed Bristol reported on Undesignated Gifts Allocation and presented a motion from the P&I Committee that undesignated memorial gifts, bequests and donations heretofore directed to the Maintenance Reserve Fund be redirected to another use. Motion passed.A follow-up motion was made by Ed Finley that the policy is for undesignated gifts from accumulated resources should from this point forward be directed to the FPC Foundation.  Motion passed.
  • Christian Education
    A motion was made by Nell Burke from the Christian Education committee for two books : “Incarnation” by Adam Hamilton and “The Bible With and Without Jesus: How Jews and Christians Read the Same Stories Differently” by Amy-Jill Levine and Marc Zvi Brettler be approved for Church School class use. Motion passed.

  • FPC Foundation
    Scott Raymond reported the focus of the Foundation in 2020 is on marketing and a new webpage is now attached to the FPC website. A new brochure is underway and should be completed by the end of 2020.
