Sergei Rachmaninoff weaves chant-based melodies into a lush harmonic fabric in his hauntingly beautiful Vespers (All-Night Vigil). The Chorale presents this sonorous a cappella work in Raleigh’s new, stunningly reverberant cathedral. This one hour program will be presented without intermission.
