Traditionally our choirs suspend their rehearsals starting in June until the end of August and we form the Summer Choir. During the summer we sing several familiar and favorite anthems that do not require weekly rehearsals. We are always seeking additional singers during the year and this has proved to be a successful way for new and interested singers to come and give it a try and discover the great fellowship we have with other singers while making music.  Some music reading ability will prove helpful.

The weekly process for singing in the Summer Choir is as follows: 1) Show up any Sunday morning at 10:25 am in the Choir Room (located down the steps below the sanctuary. 2) We will find you a robe, help you find a seat in your section, and will have music ready for you to rehearse. We rehearse for the 11:00 am worship service as well as rehearse the anthem selected for the following Sunday. That’s all there is to it.
